Job summary

The City of Manchester, NH Information Systems department is seeking a Computer Systems Specialist II to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for desktop software, hardware, networks, VoIP, PA systems, and data servers.

This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, ability to train staff, and the capacity to work independently while coordinating with a network infrastructure manager. On-call status may apply; valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Three to five years of computer system support experience; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for telephone systems, computer hardware, software, network connections, physical cable networks, and other technology.
• Performs system update procedures and program installation as required.
