Job summary

C1 is hiring a Service Technician II to deliver intermediate IT field support in Manassas, VA. You will install and service voice, data and video systems, manage wiring, power, and peripherals, and support customer networks and Windows servers.

Ideal candidates have five years of Nortel experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work onsite with occasional lifting and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• AA/AS or BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum five years of Nortel product lines experience.
• Strong network and desktop support background.
• Ability to present information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate level technical support for field installations and service calls.
• Perform moves, adds and changes on complex telecom equipment and circuits.
• Install and upgrade voice, data and video systems and documentation.
• Support client networks and Windows servers and peripherals.
• Resolve client service issues promptly and professionally.
• Lead field troubleshooting and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Maintain installation records and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Coordinate with interconnects to move numbers and configure routes.
