Job summary

Carolina Canners is seeking an IT professional to oversee operations, upgrades, and support across all company systems. You will manage OS, security tools, servers, and user devices, ensuring reliable performance and security.

The role includes evaluating new technologies and guiding staff through training and adoption. You will work with Windows-based environments and common business software, install hardware, and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of IT experience.
• Knowledge of operating systems, enterprise backup/recovery, and system performance monitoring tools.
• Professional certifications preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations across OS, security tools, applications, servers, email, and devices.
• Implement upgrades, fixes, and optimization for IT systems and assets.
• Provide training and support to staff on software and hardware.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve processes.
• Support Windows and common enterprise software (Microsoft, Adobe, Allen-Bradley).
• Install, configure, and support workstation hardware and software.
• Analyze needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost efficiency.
• Design, document, implement, test, and administer systems and networks.
• Train employees in software usage and provide ongoing technical support.
• Perform additional duties as required.
