Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an MIS Systems Support III to deliver excellent customer service and resolve electronic equipment needs, from phones to computers and software. The role requires hands-on hardware and software knowledge, strong organizational skills, and a focus on quality service across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include deploying and upgrading hardware/software, maintaining equipment databases, updating user guides, and resolving escalated service desk tickets to meet SLA goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Read and understand technical specifications, drawings, and instructions.
• Maintain an accurate database of equipment, repairs, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computer hardware and software, telephone systems, network, operating systems, and all other technology-based tools.
• Respond to help desk contacts to quickly resolve issues and meet user needs.
• Perform installs, upgrades, moves, changes from workstation hardware and software, printers, and laptops.
• Read and understand technical specifications, drawings, and instructions.
• Maintain an accurate database of equipment, repairs, and inventory.
• Update training and user guides for equipment.
• Multitask to prevent issues and handle immediate needs.
• Assist Senior Systems Engineer with user maintenance tasks as directed.
• Manage traveling schedule to visit job sites and branches to perform projects.
• Resolve tickets escalated on the Service Desk to meet SLA goals.
