Job summary

Port Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) is seeking a dynamic IT professional to support our staff, provisioning, configuring, operating, and maintaining systems hardware and software. This role emphasizes incident resolution, AD management, policy support, and proactive problem solving to keep our IT environment reliable.

The candidate will train end-users, document best practices, and work closely with the IT Operations Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years with Active Directory, Windows OS, Office, remote client access utilities, WAN, LAN, wireless communications, VPN
• Proven experience with Desktop administration and SQL database systems and the ability to operate standard office equipment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Resolve Level 1/Level 2 incidents and fulfill service requests with strong customer service
• Escalate incidents to IT operations per established procedures
• Maintain Active Directory account management during onboarding/offboarding
• Support, modify, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects
• Install new software releases and hardware upgrades
• Document best practices and IT processes
• Provide guidance and training to staff on systems
