Job summary

A nonprofit organization is seeking an IT Systems Specialist to manage technology needs and support electronic systems.   • Non-profit background in Mental Health/Substance Abuse preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s license required.

Job description

IT Systems Specialist

Must have strong communication skills; relate well to management, program staff, and technologists. Knowledge of both technical and business terminology. Responsible for software and hardware implementation, as well as ongoing management and monitoring of electronic systems.

Full-time / Non-Exempt

Pay Range begins at $24.00

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Non-profit background: Mental Health/Substance Abuse preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and education.
  • 3+ years of experience with MS Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds at times.

Valid Driver’s license required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Anticipate agency’s technology needs and proactively identify solutions.
  • Monitor and complete help desk tickets in a timely manner.
  • Installation of NVR/Camera equipment.
  • Zix email encryption and threat protection administration.
  • Implement and manage HIPAA and cybersecurity training for staff using third-party software like BullPhish.
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned by Supervisor.
