Job summary

Gaylord Archival is seeking an IT professional to work side-by-side with our CTO, serving as a trusted liaison to outside support vendors and MSP partners. The role will be hands-on in our IT transformation journey, addressing diverse technical challenges on-site in Syracuse, NY.

You'll monitor enterprise systems, ensure performance, security, and uptime, and contribute to projects that modernize how we operate, while quickly learning new platforms and sharing knowledge across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop and on-site production support.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• Effective communicator across departments and with vendors.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Be primary contact with outside support vendors and MSP to ensure issues are triaged and SLAs met.
• Monitor and maintain enterprise systems with CTO and vendor partners.
• Provide on-site technical support for hardware deployments and production troubleshooting.
• Partner with CTO on IT transformation projects.
• Learn fast, adapt to evolving tech stack and share knowledge.
• Document and improve knowledge base and processes as we scale.
