Job summary

Vercel in San Francisco is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to improve how our tools, systems, and processes work together in a hands-on, technical role. You’ll focus on automation, integrations, and reducing tool sprawl while leveraging AI.

In the near term, design, build, and maintain automation workflows across core IT systems, lead SaaS lifecycle improvements, and tighten vendor management. This onsite position shapes IT for a growing company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT administration experience across multiple platforms.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Ability to design, implement, and improve IT workflows.
• Ability to partner with Security, Compliance, and People teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows across core IT systems.
• Lead tool consolidation and SaaS lifecycle improvements.
• Own vendor management processes including procurement, renewals, intake, and documentation.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, and People Operations on cross-functional workflow optimization.
• Build and maintain integrations between systems such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, MDM, and ITSM
• Contribute to and help enforce IT documentation standards
• Identify and address tech debt especially in high-friction workflows
• Help shift IT from reactive support to a proactive, strategic partner
