Job summary

Vercel in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior People Operations Integrations Engineer to own and evolve our Workday integrations and internal HR tools.

You will build and maintain Vercel-powered HR tools, partner with People, Finance, IT, and Engineering, and ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and well-documented as we scale.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of experience with Workday, XML/XSLT, and APIs, plus a passion for headless HR tech and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connectors, Workday Studio, and/or APIs.
• Experience with generative AI and agentic coding platforms is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HR processes (hire-to-retire, compensation, benefits, org management) and data workflows.
• Familiarity with XML/XSLT and Workday security configuration is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate Vercel-powered internal People tools that support a headless HR tech stack.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, APIs).
• Partner with People Operations, Finance, IT, and Engineering to translate requirements into reliable integration solutions.
• Develop knowledge of core People Operations processes to inform system design decisions.
• Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and drive fixes with stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation of integration logic, field mappings, and processes for cross-team visibility.
• Contribute to testing, security, and change-management practices for HR system integrations.
