Job summary

Vercel in San Francisco is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to improve how our tools, systems, and processes work together in a hands-on, technical role. You’ll focus on automation, integrations, and reducing tool sprawl while leveraging AI.

In the near term, design, build, and maintain automation workflows across core IT systems, lead SaaS lifecycle improvements, and tighten vendor management. This onsite position shapes IT for a growing company.

About the Role:

We’re hiring an IT Systems Engineer to help us improve the way our tools, systems, and processes work together. This role is hands-on and technical, with a focus on automation, integrations, and cleaning up some of the complexity that’s built up as we’ve grown.

In the near term, you’ll spend most of your time building scripts and improving workflows while leveraging AI, and helping us reduce tool sprawl and vendor noise. Over time, we’re looking for someone who can help bring more structure and long-term thinking to how our team operates.

This is an in-person role based at our San Francisco headquarters. The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite to effectively collaborate with our team and support our office’s IT needs.

Success in This Role Looks Like:

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $116,000.00 – $174,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
