Job summary

Thor Motor Coach, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the IT Department in Wakarusa, IN.

You will own architecture, incident and problem management for a large set of applications, providing tier 2/3 support to prevent incidents and minimize impact. Responsibilities include leading the support and improvement of high-availability systems, Windows server administration, data center enhancements, and acting as an escalation point for the Infrastructure and Service Desk teams, with

Qualifications

Experience with network and server operations best practices.
Microsoft Servers, AD, Exchange, SQL and Services.
Experience with virtual infrastructure (Hyper-V/VMware).
Managing DNS, DHCP, GPO, File and Print services.
Windows environment troubleshooting and administration.
Experience diagnosing outages and complex incidents.
ERP Administration experience is a plus.
Strong communication and multi-tasking in a team setting.

Responsibilities

Lead in support and continuous improvement of highly available systems and networks.
Install, configure, administer and maintain Windows infrastructure.
Architect Data Center level enhancements and new technologies.
Act as escalation point for Infrastructure and Service Desk teams.
Initiate and manage tickets with hardware and software vendors.
Maintain up-to-date network and systems documentation and diagrams.
