Job summary

The City of Black Hawk is seeking an Information Technology Systems Analyst to support applications, databases, hardware, networks and Help Desk functions. The role includes software development tasks and will involve direct user support and on-call rotation.

The successful candidate will have strong systems analysis skills, knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Exchange Online, and at least 3 years in a systems/software analysis role. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration with IT emphasis.
Knowledge: systems analysis, software development basics, web development concepts, programming languages, PC hardware, LAN/WAN, Exchange Online, Azure AD, VoIP knowledge.
Experience: 3+ years in systems/software analysis with at least 1 year IT systems administration/management.

Responsibilities

Support technology systems including software, databases, hardware, networks and Help Desk functions.
Troubleshoot, upgrade, evaluate software/equipment, train users, coordinate projects, ensure network security, plan technology.
Collaborate with city departments, vendors, and contractors; may participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
