Job summary

GBQ Holdings LLC is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to maintain and secure the firm's IT systems, networks, and cloud services. The role includes server and storage management, help desk support, documentation, and collaboration with the IT group to implement solutions.

Requirements include proficiency with Windows OS and MS Office, Active Directory/Group Policy, Azure AD/Entra, Azure Virtual Desktop, PowerShell, and backup solutions. On-call and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows desktop operating systems and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneNote).
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects; Azure AD/Entra; Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
• PowerShell scripting and automation; Power Automate experience.
• Familiar with networking, backups, cloud hosting, and VOIP telephony.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support for servers (physical & virtual), Networking LAN/WAN/WLAN, storage, and OS.
• Support Help Desk with everyday issues and document IT processes.
• Perform software installations and maintenance; ensure security of local and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and repair MS SQL databases; manage VOIP systems.
• Develop scripts and automation; create documentation for deployments.
• Collaborate with IT to deliver solutions and cover on-call duties.
