Job summary

Genedata in Lexington, MA, seeks an experienced IT Support professional to provide first- and second-level support for end users, spanning hardware, software, and networking. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot devices, operating systems, and essential apps, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, handling multiple requests, and maintaining data security with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of system administration across Windows environments (Linux a plus).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple support requests and projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support to end users via phone, in-person, and online channels.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, OS, networking, and standard business apps.
• Identify and implement hardware/software solutions including application customization.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure service delivery.
• Support user productivity through training and ongoing communications.
