Job summary

GPI is seeking a hands-on Senior Systems Administrator to support technology operations across our New England branch, serving nearly 200 employees and traveling to Wilmington, MA; Salem, NH; Bedford, NH; Boston, MA; and Portsmouth, NH.

The ideal candidate will lead local IT staff, maintain enterprise systems, and ensure secure, reliable technology solutions while collaborating with corporate IT teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Experience with server infrastructure, networks, storage, security, backups and end-user tech.
• Experience with Microsoft-based environments (AD, M365, cloud).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with technical/non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day IT operations across GPI's New England branch.
• Provide technical guidance to local IT staff; escalate complex issues.
• Install, maintain, and support infrastructure, security and user tech.
• Support system availability, backups, DR, security, lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Plan upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and initiatives.
• Evaluate new technologies and automation opportunities.
