Job summary

Gridiron Air is seeking an IT Systems Administrator & Technical Support professional to ensure smooth operation of IT systems and networks across the organization. The role blends hands-on support with system administration and internal app development using Power Apps and Power Automate.

You will manage Microsoft 365, security features, device support, server and network administration, and collaborate with departments to translate needs into practical software solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT systems and network administration experience.
• 2+ years of experience developing and supporting business applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) or similar web development platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Proficiency administering Microsoft technologies, including Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and MDM solutions.
• Experience with Windows and macOS environments, Azure cloud services, virtualization platforms, and server administration.
• Experience with network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, wireless).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, access management, and security best practices.
• Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across hardware, software, apps, and networks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to support a 24/7 operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain internal web-based applications and business solutions.
• Develop and support Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, SharePoint solutions, and other low-code platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Create automated workflows and process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft 365 services, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Maintain application documentation, testing procedures, and change management records.
• Provide training and end-user support for internally developed tools.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to support business objectives.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for hardware, software, apps, and network issues.
• Represent IT in cross-functional initiatives and ensure policy compliance.
