Job summary

Alloy Surfaces Company, Inc. is seeking an IT System Administrator to provide hands-on Tier 2/3 support for end users, systems, and escalated issues for onsite and remote users. You will combine hands-on troubleshooting with system administration duties, while coordinating with our MSP to ensure smooth IT operations.

The role requires a self-starter who can handle onboarding, asset inventory, and policy compliance, including cybersecurity initiatives and documentation maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, or MS-900 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person support for walk ups, onsite troubleshooting, and user assistance needs.
• Action escalated tickets requiring hands-on intervention or deeper organizational context.
• Support device lifecycle tasks such as imaging, hardware setup, workstation refreshes, and physical inventory.
• Deploy and support onsite desk equipment and shared resources.
• Resolve software, configuration, and access issues.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, and coordinate with vendors.
