Job summary

Alloy Precision Technologies is seeking an entry-level Technical Support Specialist to assist end users and support the growing IIoT on the shop floor. You will work with the Network Administrator to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues and help install and maintain production equipment.

The role emphasizes reliability and compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, and NIST SP 800-171/CMMC, requiring careful documentation and secure access controls.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring strong problem-solving and communication.
• Experience assisting end users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with IT security controls (ITAR, DFARS, NIST SP 800-171/CMMC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for end-user support; log and resolve tickets.
• Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, and shop-floor terminals.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain IIoT devices on production network.
• Perform routine system maintenance under the Network Administrator.
• Assist with administering user accounts and security controls per ITAR/DFARS/NIST requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets and activities.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 in daily tasks.
