Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller is seeking an IT Systems Administrator Level I to support our enterprise server infrastructure. You will manage Windows Server OS, Hyper-V/VMware ESXi, Office 365, Azure, and storage systems, using vCenter, SolarWinds, AD tools, and PowerShell.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience and an Associate degree. You will provide Level 2 support to the IT Service Desk and work across on-prem and cloud environments in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 yrs of experience in IT systems administration.
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Proficient with Windows Server and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V/VMware).
• Experience with Exchange on-premises and Exchange Online is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for server OS and related software/hardware.
• Troubleshoot application and OS problems and document configurations.
• Provide Level 2 IT Service Desk support.
• Administer on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online mailbox access.
• Collaborate with IT team to address alerts from monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
• Install, configure, and decommission servers; manage server lifecycle and OS upgrades.
• Support Windows and Azure Active Directory environments and security standards.
• Assist network and security teams to resolve site-related issues and vulnerabilities.
