Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

• Implement and provide technical support for enterprise server infrastructure
• Support Windows Server OS, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware ESX, Office 365, Azure, and storage systems
• Manage environments using vCenter, SolarWinds, Active Directory administration tools, and PowerShell
• Provide day-to-day support for server operating systems and related software and hardware
• Troubleshoot application and operating system problems
• Document system configurations and operational procedures
• Provide Level 2 support to the IT Service Desk team
• Administer and support on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online, including mailbox access configuration
• Address, resolve, and acknowledge monitoring alerts with IT team members
• Install, configure, and decommission servers according to Server Lifecycle Provisioning processes
• Schedule server OS refreshes and upgrades
• Support and maintain Windows and Azure Active Directory environments
• Evaluate hardware and software compatibility and security standards
• Work with the network team to support and troubleshoot site-related networking issues
• Work with the security team to identify and resolve vulnerabilities reported by IT Security tools
• Report to the Converting & Paper Platform Infrastructure Leader
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience
• Associate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Critical thinking and decision‑making skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Windows Server and hypervisor technologies
• Proficiency in Windows and Azure Active Directory
• Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking concepts
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to correctly wear and use employer-required PPE in manufacturing areas
• Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for prolonged periods
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
