Barry-Wehmiller is seeking an IT Systems Administrator Level I to support enterprise server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware ESX, Office 365, and Azure. You will use tools like vCenter, SolarWinds, and PowerShell to manage environments, with day-to-day responsibilities in a manufacturing office setting.
Reporting to the Converting & Paper Platform Infrastructure Leader, this entry-level role requires 1–3 years of experience and strong communication skills.

IT System Administrators are responsible for the implementation and technical support of Enterprise’s server infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to the support of Windows Server OS, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare ESX, Office 365, Azure and storage systems. IT Systems Administrators will use tools such as vCenter, SolarWinds, Active Directory administration tools, and PowerShell to manage the environments. IT Systems Administrator Level I is an entry level position.
1-3yrs of Experience. Associate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Reports to the Converting & Paper Platform Infrastructure Leader.
This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility. Although the employee may spend a portion of his/her time in the office area, the employee’s essential job duties may also require the employee to spend a portion of his/her time in the manufacturing area. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.
This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
Occasional domestic travel may be required for this position.
The physical demands described here are representative of those performed in the job duties. The employee sits at a desk and uses a computer for prolonged periods of time. Performing the role frequently uses close vision, speech, hearing, and dexterity to operate office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
