Job summary

Virginia Tech is seeking a Computer Support Technician to provide end-user support within Undergraduate Admissions and Enrollment Management. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair computers and equipment, and assist with AV setup for events.

Qualifications

• Experience with installing, operating, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
• Experience installing computer peripherals such as printers, scanners, or similar devices.
• Experience with Windows and Mac Operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support to Undergraduate Admissions and Enrollment Management.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair computers and equipment.
• Perform routing maintenance on installed computer equipment following procedures.
• Assist with Audio/Visual setup and events as needed.
