Testronic, a global QA leader, seeks an IT Support Technician for its New Orleans QA Testing Facility to deliver 1st/2nd line IT support and provisioning for QA projects. The role involves local server and network administration, policy enforcement, asset management, and documentation within a collaborative global IT team.

Requirements include a Bachelor or Master’s in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of IT support experience, with strong problem-solving and deadline-driven

Formación

• 2+ years of IT support experience.
• Ability to multitask and support various user groups.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints.
• Team player in local and global IT teams.
• Current server, PC and mobile hardware knowledge.
• Understanding of networking principles and hardware.
• Industry IT hardware certifications such as CompTIA A+.
• Windows 10, macOS, iOS, Android operating systems experience.
• Active Directory user/group management experience.
• Experience with VoIP systems, imaging technologies, and BitLocker.

Responsabilidades

• 1st/2nd line IT support to QA testing teams from the NOLA Service Desk.
• Provisioning of testing equipment to QA projects.
• Administration of local servers, systems and network devices.
• Implement global IT policies defined by IT Director and Head of InfoSec.
• IT procurement for the New Orleans facility.
• Negotiate and maintain vendor/consultant contracts and service agreements.
• Maintain documentation of all services and systems.
• Manage and audit IT assets in the facility.
• Run vulnerability scanning and patching of endpoints.
• Address security events raised by SIEM; support shift patterns as needed.
