Job summary

Coalinga-Regional-Medical-Center is seeking an IT/Helpdesk specialist to support local desktop systems, networks, and end-user devices in a clinical environment. You will join the network team, assist with installations, troubleshooting, and end-user support, including password resets and account setup.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in computer science, data processing or related field.
• Three years IT/Helpdesk experience preferred.
• Ability to install software and hardware on networking equipment and microcomputers.
• Familiarity with networking and personal computer software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on computers and peripherals.
• Ability to communicate information to staff and the public clearly.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and group settings.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Local Area Networks; document systems.
• Provide technical support to users via helpdesk and network team.
• Install PCs, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Assist with PC, network configuration and cabling.
• Administer end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other equipment.
• Maintain end-user hardware/software and assist with labs.
• Travel to off-site locations for labs/events and related activities.
• Order software, hardware, and supplies for the network and labs.
• Maintain the phone system; set up technology for meetings and events.
• May perform other duties as needed.
