Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Computer Technology Specialist (Level I‑III) to provide on-site support to faculty, staff and students. You will install and maintain computers, printers, peripherals, and software, perform first-level network and security tasks, and train part-time technical assistants.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in electronics or computer related field is required.
• Level I requires installation, test, repair, maintenance and upgrading of computers, printers, peripherals, and OS.
• Level II requires one year of similar experience in installation, repair, maintenance and upgrading.
• Level III requires three years of relevant experience across the same areas.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site desktop software, utilities, hardware and peripheral support.
• Perform telephone support, diagnostics, and issue resolution with users.
• Train part-time technical assistants and guide other staff in best practices.
• Support registration cables, software, hardware, and printers; travel to multiple campuses.
• Maintain campus wireless networks and stay current with emerging technologies.
