Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a part-time Skills Lab Assistant to support the department, students, and faculty in Corpus Christi, Texas. You will help set up and take down equipment for skills labs, assist with inventory, and handle routine lab needs as directed.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab spaces and manikins, supporting simulation software, and ensuring supplies are stocked. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 3–6 months related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months related experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and use of electronic email systems/calendar scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and take down of skills and simulation labs.
• Maintenance of lab equipment including manikins and lab space; this includes washing manikins, cleaning beds/tables, weekly laundry of lab linens.
• Maintenance of simulation software and support systems.
• Inventory Control: keeping track of equipment and manikin parts; Maintain cabinet organization in simulation labs.
