SoLa Impact in Los Angeles is seeking an IT Support Specialist II, an entry-level role focused on building foundational IT skills while providing first-line assistance to staff. Under the supervision of the IT Manager, you will handle basic help desk requests, assist with hardware and software setup, and learn the tools, systems, and processes that support SoLa's IT environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; IT coursework preferred.
• 0-1 year in a technical support or IT-related role counts.
• Basic familiarity with Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
• Exposure to Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; CompTIA A+ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic help desk requests via phone, email, or ticketing under supervision.
• Assist with troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.
• Log and track tickets accurately; document steps and resolutions.
• Escalate issues that exceed current skill level promptly.
• Assist with hardware setup and deployment for new employees.
• Support software installations and updates under supervision.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
