Vanir is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance to employees across corporate offices, remote locations, and project sites. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user issues while supporting installation, configuration, maintenance, and deployment of IT equipment.

You will document support activities, work with IT staff and vendors, assist onboarding and offboarding, address network and VPN issues, and help with security-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS.
• 1+ year of technical support in a business environment.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking and VPN concepts; AD/Entra ID desirable.
• Ability to diagnose problems using standard methods and document outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical assistance to employees both remotely and on-site.
• Utilize IT help desk to track, prioritize, and resolve requests.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Support Windows and Microsoft 365 applications and related software.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and VPN issues; escalate when needed.
• Contribute to systems administration, endpoint maintenance, and security tasks.
• Maintain IT asset records and document procedures for consistency.
• Educate users on proper IT practices and security awareness.
• Coordinate with IT staff and vendors to resolve issues and support projects.
• Provide after-hours support as necessary for maintenance or urgent issues.
