Job summary

DLA Piper LLP (US) seeks an experienced desk-side IT support specialist in New York City to provide hardware and software assistance to end users. The role includes onsite and remote support, imaging and setup of desktops, laptops, and printers, and coordination with vendors for repairs.

You will handle onboarding/offboarding, MFA/remote access training, and participate in migrations and upgrades. A strong customer service mindset is essential for success in a fast-paced legal environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows OS, Office suite, and device configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues and install devices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Installs standard software on firm computers.
• Provides technology support onsite and remote.
• Imaging and setup of desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and support.
• Set up and support mobile devices.
• Troubleshoots network issues, printer problems, and hardware failures.
• Provides loaner equipment to minimize downtime.
• Participates in firm-wide upgrades and migrations.
• Maintains inventory of hardware devices.
• Handles onboarding/offboarding and MFA/remote access training.
• Monitors ticket queue and documents resolutions.
• Offers after-hours support during on-call rotations.
• Hybrid work arrangement with occasional travel and overtime as needed.
