Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a desk-side IT support specialist in Miami to provide hardware and software assistance to end users, onsite and remotely. Responsibilities include installing software, imaging and configuring desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, and coordinating with vendors for repairs.

You will manage onboarding/offboarding, support migrations, monitor ticket queues, document resolutions, and assist Level 3 teams on projects.

Qualifications

Must have 2 years' experience providing end-user support and hardware/software troubleshooting.
CompTIA A+, Network+ certificate preferred.
Experience with MS Windows, Office, device configuration, troubleshooting, OS configuration, network printing, and hardware/software installation.
Excellent verbal and written skills; strong organizational and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

Installs standard software on firm computers.
Provides technology support onsite and remote to employees and clients.
Imaging and setup of desktops, laptops, and printers.
Coordinate with vendors for repairs and support.
Set up and support firm & personally owned mobile devices.
Resolves issues including network connectivity, hard drive/display, and printer problems.
Provides alternate loaner equipment to minimize downtime.
Maintains inventory of laptops, desktops, monitors and mobile devices.
Onboarding and offboarding of employees including MFA and remote access.
Monitors ticket queue and documents resolutions for knowledge transfer.
Provides after-hours support during on-call rotation.
Travels to the office during late or weekend hours as needed.
Hybrid work arrangement; supports meetings and events.
