Job summary

Qualifications

• Workstation: Provides end-user hardware/software support and training.
• Hardware/Software: Installs and tests PC hardware and software on workstations.
• Maintains Technical Expertise: Keeps knowledge up-to-date with online courses.
• Network Support: Provides device-level network support and inspections.
• Project Coordination: Documents issues, manages scope, and tracks tasks.
• Team Building: Mentors colleagues and participates in training.
• This position may require travel to WVUHS facilities.

Responsibilities

• Workstation hardware/software troubleshooting, repairs, and end-user training.
• Install and test PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, IP phones, and mobile devices.
• Provide on-site end-user support and guide users through IT processes.
• Keep technical skills current through training.
• Provide general network device support and inspections.
• Coordinate projects, manage risks, and communicate status.
• Engage in team-building and cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel to WVUHS facilities as needed for implementations and support.
• Adhere to WVUHS policies and on-call responsibilities.
• Support biomedical device maintenance where applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
