West Virginia University Health System is seeking an IT Site Manager to oversee daily operations of IT PC support staff across hospitals, clinics and physician offices in the Uniontown area. The role coordinates with executive leadership to ensure secure, compliant, reliable IT services and drives alignment with WVUHS objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business, informatics, or related field with 5 years of relatable IT experience including 2 years in management.
• Associate’s degree with 6 years IT experience including 2 years management.
• High School Diploma with relevant IT certifications and 8 years IT experience including 2 years management.
• Internal employees must meet mandatory competencies for promotion within IT.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for the local IT PC support staff.
• Interacts with CEO, executive team, medical staff, and management of the assigned hospital.
• Functions as Information Security Coordinator for their hospital, ambulatory clinics and the regional area they service.
• Maintains data center, servers, network, storage, and technology of the assigned hospital.
• Oversees staffing levels and administers staff evaluations and training plans.
• Coordinates project plans, budgets and asset management across site and enterprise projects.
