Description

We are looking for a dependable IT Support Technician on a long-term contract basis in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will assist with the setup, maintenance, and upgrading of workstations, ensuring smooth operations across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with IT hardware and software, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and provision new workstations to meet organizational needs.

Upgrade existing endpoint devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

Perform hardware installation and ensure proper functionality.

Assist with imaging devices and configuring systems for end users.

Replace outdated equipment with updated hardware components.

Collaborate with the Service Desk team to address technical issues.

Maintain accurate records of hardware upgrades and installations.

Ensure compliance with IT protocols and security standards.

Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware and software concerns.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Experience handling PC hardware and performing upgrades.

Ability to perform basic hardware installation tasks.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
