Job summary

The Wright Group is seeking an IT support professional to install computer systems and maintain systems for multiple locations, including Lafayette and Crowley. You will assist in setting up computers, cameras, phones, and other office equipment, and resolve hardware and software issues quickly.

Responsibilities include managing IT systems, planning and coordinating data operations, audits for compliance, disaster recovery, and onboarding users onto manufacturing apps.

Qualifications

• Experience installing computers and office equipment and maintaining OS.
• Ability to resolve hardware/software issues promptly.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and users.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Oversee projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and partners.
• Conduct system audits to ensure policy/regulatory compliance.
• Maintain disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Maintain knowledge through workshops and publications.
• On-board users on manufacturing applications and service networks.
• Service all users within the company and answer help desk tickets.

Job description

We are looking for someone who has the knowledge and ability to install computer systems and maintain systems upkeep for multiple locations. Ability to set up computers, cameras, phones and other office equipment; assist in maintaining operating systems. Helping with hardware and software issues, dealing with them promptly as they may arise.

• Managing, monitoring, information technology and computer systems.
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
• Oversight of projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and third-party partners.
• Verifies application results by conducting system audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory rules and regulations.
• Preservation of assets by implementation of disaster recovery policy and back up procedures.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing regulatory publications, and participating in professional societies.
• Maintains quality service by on- boarding customers on manufacturing applications.

Job Type: Full time

Experience level: College student desired or 4 years of IT help desk experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday- 40 hours (can be flexible if student)
