Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide frontline IT support for physicians, directors, and staff. You will train new technicians, manage Active Directory, DHCP, and print services, and build or update workstations with software, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as they arise.

You will also handle workstation moves and new setups, and respond quickly to user requests to minimize downtime while ensuring adherence to IT standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Certification or willingness to obtain certification soon after hire.
• Very computer literate with ability to learn computer support tasks.
• Strong technical writing skills and clear communication with staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from physicians, directors and hospital staff.
• Assist with training new IT Support Technicians.
• Manage Active Directory, DHCP, and Print Management.
• Build, replace/update workstations; install software and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Assist with workstation moves and new setups; respond quickly to issues to minimize downtime.
