Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, IL seeks an IT Support Technician to provide front line IT support to users across our facilities. You will configure and maintain PC desktops/laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals, and support Windows OS and applications.

The successful candidate will resolve issues or escalate to Support Engineers as needed, with a focus on delivering reliable IT services to colleagues in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in software, hardware, operating systems, installation procedures, and applications is preferred.
• A+ Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line IT support to customers.
• Resolve issues or refer more complex problems to Support Engineers and/or leadership.
• Configure and maintain PC desktops/laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• Provide application support including Windows operating systems and other software.
