Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa, Inc. in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to maintain agency computer and communication systems, troubleshoot hardware and software, and provide end-user support to staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related IT field or 2 years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Administration, inventory, upgrades and maintenance of computer hardware, software, cabling, mobile devices, and communication systems.
• Ensures compliance with agency policies, PCI, CARF standards and safety/security measures.
• Provides end-user support via phone, email, and in-person.
• Creates new user network and email accounts using Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• Diagnoses and resolves PC hardware, OS, and software issues.
• Provides conference room support and AV equipment setup.
• Available during nontraditional hours including some weekend and evening periods.
