Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a full-time IT professional to provide helpdesk support to agency staff in a fast-paced environment, serving as the primary contact for three business lines and the corporate staff, and assisting with projects using internal resources and external vendors.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues, supporting POS systems and PCI compliance, maintaining documentation, and contributing to on-call rotations and after-hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
• A+ Certification or MCP preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in hardware config and help desk roles.
• Experience with POS systems and PCI compliance is a plus.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Must have valid Georgia driver's license and be insurable.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provides helpdesk support for hardware, software, and networks to end users.
• Resolves user problems or routes to external resources as needed.
• Supports POS systems and PCI compliance.
• Maintains LAN/DNS/DHCP knowledge for troubleshooting.
• Monitors system availability and documents procedures.
• Installs and supports PCs, laptops, printers, and related equipment.
• Develops and maintains documentation for procedures and configurations.
• Participates in after-hours on-call rotation and travels to remote sites as required.
