Job summary

The IT Specialist at FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants’ New Castle site provides day-to-day support for IT systems, responds to help desk requests, performs software and hardware installations, and assists with moves/adds/changes.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently and in a team, and familiarity with Windows 11 and basic networking; there is an interest in AI applications for business.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) at all levels in the organization.
• Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Windows environment and basic networking skills.
• Demonstrates good customer service skills and motivation.
• Ability to earn new technology and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responds to help desk tickets, telephone calls, and e-mail and personnel requests for technical support
• Maintain inventory of devices
• Communicate in a polite and professional manner with all levels of the business
• Work independently and manage time effectively
• Perform software and hardware installations
• Configure, diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware and software
• Assist with computer moves/adds/changes and other related duties and tasks as required or assigned
• Participate in IT projects as required
• Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office products
• Have an interest in learning about AI use within a business
