Job summary

RLC, LLC in Broussard, LA is seeking a self-motivated IT Help Desk Support Technician to be the frontline for resolving employee tech issues via tickets, phone, email, and in-person support, with occasional travel to remote sites and rare after-hours emergencies.

You will administer Windows Server and Active Directory, deploy patches via Intune/WSUS/PDQ Deploy, configure networking gear, image workstations, and manage Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and mobile devices (Intune/Jamf Pro).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent certifications; 3–5 years IT support experience.
• CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration (AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO), backup and patch deployment.
• Hands-on networking and cabling skills; familiarity with Azure/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day help desk support and training across departments.
• Monitor and validate backup jobs; perform restore testing.
• Administer Windows Server and Active Directory; manage AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO and File Services; Hyper-V.
• Deploy patches via Intune, WSUS, or PDQ Deploy.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs; handle cabling.
• Build and image Windows workstations; manage hardware/software inventory.
• Administer Azure AD (Entra ID), Microsoft 365, and hybrid identity/MFA.
• Manage iPads/mobile devices via Intune or Jamf Pro.
• Occasional travel to remote locations; respond to rare after-hours emergencies.
