Job summary

Applied Connective Company in Columbus, NE is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide remote and onsite technical assistance for our growing client base. The role requires strong customer service and solid troubleshooting skills within a full-time schedule M-F 8am–5pm.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, coordinate with the Service Manager for escalations, and ensure timely, clear communication with clients.

Qualifications

• > Minimum of 1 year of experience in the IT field
• > Self-motivated, efficient, hard-working, organized, detail-oriented, and extremely reliable
• > Work independently and without the need for constant supervision to meet deadlines
• > Promptly answer support-related email, phone calls, and other electronic communications
• > Interpret reported issues and understand the urgency of any reported issues
• > Demonstrate excellent communication (oral and written)
• > Understand printer configuration/management, malware removal tools, TCP/IP configuration, and desktop OS and application operations
• > Have a basic working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS concepts as well as basic wireless knowledge and knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot inbound IT support requests and provide resolutions via remote and onsite visits.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager to escalate issues and work with the Relationship Manager as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external resources.
