Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide internal employee support and technical assistance on company-supported computer hardware, software, and systems.

Responsibilities include handling hardware/software issues, ticketing, diagnosing, upgrading, maintaining equipment, and ensuring network users (including remote) receive prompt, professional service.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer/software troubleshooting and Windows OS experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365 administration and apps.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, servers and hardware.
• PowerShell basics preferred; strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for company’s computer environment and network.
• Respond to requests via IT ticketing system and log interactions.
• Open/close service requests; classify, assign, track, and close requests.
• Maintain in-house systems: diagnose, upgrade, repair, install hardware.
• Deliver excellent customer service to employees, including remote users.
• Foster positive relationships and understand users’ problems.
• Schedule equipment, handle services/items for employees; organize shipments.
• Interact with network services.
