Job description

Location: Remote (Must be authorized to work in the US)

The Role:
We’re looking for a tech-savvy, people-oriented IT Support Specialist to help keep our remote team connected and productive. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting technical issues, onboarding new team members, and maintaining key systems across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across a fully remote team
• Set up and configure laptops, user accounts, and tools for new hires
• Troubleshoot issues with SaaS tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, VPN, etc.)
• Document IT support processes and create internal how-to guides
• Monitor and maintain IT asset inventory and access permissions
• Liaise with vendors and escalate issues as needed
• Assist with basic cybersecurity practices and remote device management

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role
• Solid knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and remote support tools
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and account management
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MDM tools (e.g., Jamf, Intune)
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
• ITIL or CompTIA certifications
• Experience supporting distributed teams
