Support Specialist - USAF Logistics Systems

Koniag Emerging Technologies, LLC is seeking a Support Specialist to join our team for mission-critical Service Desk support on USAF logistics systems (depot maintenance/supply) within a Capability Delivery Team (CDT) environment. The candidate will collaborate with Government personnel, contractors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide functional knowledge and ensure accurate system implementation. This position offers a remote/teleworking schedule, which may change based on onsite seating availability at our Kettering, Ohio facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer system access by signing DD2875 forms for SPERS, including re-routing to signatories
• Manage user accounts: lock/unlock, update profiles, deactivate users
• Facilitate annual revalidation of user access
• Approve role requests and upload appointment letters to activate users
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support users with service desk issues, including initial access problems
• Request missing DD2875 attachments and maintain knowledge base articles in Confluence
• Monitor DD2875 requests and user issues via organizational email boxes

Required Skills and Experience

• U.S. Citizen
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Successful completion of a T1 Public Trust background check or higher
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile Jira Service Desk
• Minimum 3 years of functional or technical experience with USAF logistics systems or similar systems
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and teams
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and adaptability in high-stress environments

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of JIRA Service Desk and Confluence
• Agile training or certification
• Experience with lifecycle management in an agile environment within the Business and Enterprise System (BES) Directorate
• Familiarity with SPERS

Soft Skills

• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams as needed
