Job summary

TaskUs USA LLC invites an IT Support Specialist to join our office-based team in San Antonio, Texas. You will provide first-line technical support, set up new hardware, install software, and ensure systems run smoothly for colleagues across departments.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, monitor security, and assist with IT projects while delivering excellent customer service. Experience with Windows, macOS, LAN/WAN, VPN, and familiarity with tools like VM Workspace One, Cortex

Qualifications

• Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, macOS.
• Understanding of computer networks, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving common software and hardware issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively assist and communicate with end-users.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of system security and data protection best practices.
• Familiarity with VMWare Workspace One, Cortex XDR, MDT, Service now ticketing, ITIL principles and practices.
• Experience in a BPO or similar environment will be considered as a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to the business and team members, addressing technical issues promptly.
• Set up hardware (laptops, desktops) with required software for new hires.
• Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related problems and troubleshoot to resolution.
• Maintain system security, apply upgrades, and assist with IT projects.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth operations and user satisfaction.
