Job summary

Unitas Consulting LLC is seeking a Support Specialist II in Baton Rouge. The role involves IT support for clients and staff, both on-site and at client locations, with on-call duties and travel as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of IT experience, strong troubleshooting, and familiarity with Windows/macOS environments, email systems, and VoIP. A proactive, team-oriented approach is required.

Qualifications

• Basic hardware and software troubleshooting (In person, Remote, Phone Support).
• Documentation and Ticket Management for reported support incidents.
• Basic user account management, password resets, add/delete email accounts.
• Desktop and Server Administration (Windows 10 and Server 2012-2019).
• Low level training and instruction when necessary.
• Working knowledge and experience with basic switching and routing.
• Basic VoIP telephony experience and administration.
• Desktop OS: Windows 10 and Mac OS.
• Server OS: Server 2012-2019
• Office Suite: 2019/Office 365
• Email: Google Workspace and Office 365, Microsoft Exchange
• AntiVirus: BitDefender, Windows Defender
• Backup: Carbonite, Cloudberry, and Veeam
• Cloud Services: Dropbox, OneDrive, OpenDNS, Ninite, and Cloudflare.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a kind and friendly manner.
• Meet deadlines under budget and on-time.
• Maintain a neat and tidy working environment.
• Provide on-site or remote IT support as needed.
• Assist with office IT operations and deployments.
• Maintain documentation and ticket tracking for incidents.
