Job summary

Heartland Business Systems, LLC. in Wisconsin is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day hands-on support for end-user laptops, desktops, peripherals, software, mobile devices, printers and other tools.

You will troubleshoot issues to resolution and provide 1-to-1 training, with on-call rotation and on-site work at client locations. Required: 1–3 years of Windows PC troubleshooting, strong Windows OS knowledge, and basic networking.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience troubleshooting Windows PCs.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of Cisco, HP networking and related IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide First and Second tier support of PC hardware & software, desk phones, printers, mobile devices, and other computer equipment.
• Maintain ticketing system entries and update inventory records.
• Track, route, and escalate problems to correct resources.
• Identify hardware warranty issues and resolve as required.
• Provide timely updates to end users.
