Job summary

Heartland Technology Group is seeking an experienced IT Service Technician to deliver desktop, application and basic server/network support for multiple clients.

You will respond to tickets, monitor alerts, perform maintenance, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations with additional compensation. Strong customer service and Windows knowledge are essential; familiarity with Mac OS and mobile OS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an IT service role, systems and network administration.
• Associate degree or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Customer service oriented with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond to auto-generated ticket alerts and maintain SLAs.
• Monitor and work tickets in the system for client requests.
• Perform proactive maintenance on networks, servers, and firewalls.
• Remote support for network devices, servers, and storage.
• Escalate issues and assist with internal projects and documentation.
• Participate in after hours/on-call rotation with additional compensation.
