Zusammenfassung

Heartland Business Systems, LLC is seeking an IT Service Specialist to support desktops, applications, servers, networking and firewall equipment for multiple Heartland customers. You’ll handle tickets, perform proactive maintenance, and help resolve issues in a fast-paced managed services environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT service roles, an associate degree in a technology field, and strong Windows OS/Server knowledge.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in IT service, systems administration, and network administration.
• Associate degree in technology field or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System.
• Basic knowledge of network printing.
• Basic knowledge of antivirus software.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Basic knowledge of Mac OS.
• Basic knowledge of mobile OS (iOS/Android).
• Strong prioritization skills and outcome-focused mindset.
• Team-oriented professional attitude.

Aufgaben

• Respond to auto-generated ticket alerts (critical and non-critical).
• Monitor and work tickets in the ticket system for client requests.
• Acknowledge and respond to tickets per Managed Services SLA.
• Be part of a phone queue for client requests.
• Review monthly client reports and propose resolutions.
• Escalate tickets to internal departments and clients' IT teams.
• Perform proactive maintenance (switch/firewall/routers upgrades, patches).
• Remote support for switches, routers, firewalls, servers, storage.
• Monitor and analyze client networks, systems, Backups, security appliances.
• Collaborate with the field engineer and participate in internal projects.
• Contribute to and improve internal process/documentation.
• On-call after hours/weekend rotation every 8–10 weeks with compensation.
• Other duties as assigned.
