Job summary
Heartland Business Systems LLC is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our managed services team in Wisconsin. You will handle desktop and application support, basic server/network duties, and respond to client requests with a focus on quality service and quick resolutions.
You will monitor tickets, perform proactive maintenance, assist with on-call rotations, and contribute to documentation and internal processes, while delivering reliable IT support for multiple Heartland
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in an IT service role, systems administration, and network administration.
- Associate degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Customer service-oriented skillset.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System.
- Basic knowledge of network printing and antivirus software.
Responsibilities
- Respond to auto generated ticket alerts and monitor tickets in the system.
- Acknowledge and respond to tickets based on the Managed Services SLA.
- Provide remote support for switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and storage.
- Perform proactive maintenance including patches and upgrades.
- Escalate tickets to internal teams and client IT departments as needed.
- Assist with documentation of procedures and internal processes.
- Participate in on-call rotation every 8-10 weeks.
